Colleen Barclay MPH ’08 (Epidemiology/Biostatistics) writes, “Three years ago, after a lifetime in California, I moved to North Carolina so that I could play an active role in my grandchildren’s lives. Since then I’ve worked at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as the program coordinator for the UNC Research Center for Excellence in Clinical Preventive Services, where I manage a multidisciplinary team of investigators and conduct education and dissemination activities about appropriate use of screening. In mid-September I’ll be traveling to Oxford, UK to present a paper at the Preventing Overdiagnosis conference.”
