Although retired as an executive director of an organization in Washington, DC that represents 118 colleges and universities with programs in the health sciences, Thomas W. Elwood continues in semiretirement to be an adjunct professor teaching two courses at Rutgers University Biomedical & Health Sciences and serving as chief editor of a health journal. He also provides resource material to two global pharmaceutical companies that focus on immuno-oncology and conducts podcast interviews for the Rusk Rehabilitation Institute, New York University Langone Medical Center. This activity involves discussions with neuroscientists, physicians, nurses, psychologists, physical therapists, and other health professionals engaged in research and clinical care for patients suffering from traumatic brain injury and related ailments.
